Associate Prof. Dr. Nira Ferdous is a dedicated physician specializing in Internal Medicine with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience. She has extensive expertise in managing rheumatological and autoimmune diseases alongside diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, different types of infections and other complex conditions. Actively engaged in both patient care and teaching at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College, she also contributes to quality assurance committees. She is a member of young Rheumatologist Community of Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR), member of Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA), member of American College of Physicians (MACP), reviewer of MH Samorita Medical College & Hospital Journal, member of Medical Education Committee, Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), life member of Bangladesh Society of Medicine (BSM), Bangladesh Rheumatology Society (BRS), Association of Physician of Bangladesh (APB), Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She attended and presented many scientific papers in different national and international conferences held in the Netherlands, Germany, China, Singapore, Australia, UAE, Poland, Taiwan, Spain, Thailand and Japan. She is one of the proud investigators of APLAR SpA registry among 22 countries of Asia-pacific region.
